having traveled extensively and living in both europe and asia for a long time, this hotel offered a low level of service def not 4-star as stated (un-polite staff and they did not change the sheets) and the tour group they are contracted to is a pure fraud company, charging super premium prices (280yuan for great wall tour compared to regular 130yuan).
the setting and location are excellent however, conveniently located to the subway (the fastest way to get around in beijing).
i was impressed by the pictures on the website and fooled. i have been to beijing for more than 10 times and i would not choose this hotel in my future trips to beijing.
