When visiting China, you will be looking for things to do in Hong Kong, you simply must visit Hong Kong Disneyland. You will be greeted by none other than Mickey Mouse riding a water spray from a Whale blow hole in the massive fountain, located in the Park Promenade by Disneyland, Hong Kong. This theme park opened its doors, after years of construction and negotiations, on September 12 2005.

There were over 400 guests in attendance during the ground breaking ceremony of Hong Kong Disneyland in 2003. Among all of the Disneyland-style theme parks Hong Kong Disneyland had the shortest construction period. As far as Hong Kong attractions go this is a must see. The four themed lands there are, Main Street U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland. There are plans to include a Frontierland in a future expansion project. The theme park’s cast members use English and Chinese to verbally communicate.
