Close to Grand Century Plaza, the Mong Kok East Station is a major hub for the MTR. In addition there is a public transportation interchange just outside of the station, making discount hotels in Hong Kong near the Mong Kok East Station a great place to stay for business and leisure travelers. The station itself is built on the original Yaumati Station grounds and was opened in 1968.
If you are staying at one of the budget hotels near the Mong Kok East Station in Hong Kong you can also access any of the three platforms for the trains heading to destinations such as Tsim Sha Tsui or Lo Wok. The station also has a duty free shop, concourse area with an MTR shop, fast food, vending machines as well as shops and ticket vendors.
