Qingdao Liuting International Airport is the perfect stop on your way to the city of Qingdao. The airport is a short trip of 31 kilometers from the city, and serves as the city’s main airport. The huge airport as of now has 72 domestic, and 14 international routes making it quite easy to get to the city. There is no shortage of things to do in Qingdao, the city is huge and it would be difficult to see all there is to see in a single visit. I recommend allotting an adequate amount of time just to see the sight of the city.

To accommodate more people the airport underwent major expansions of its runway, and its terminal, which was all part of a plan it had to handle 5.2 million people annually by 2010. The parking are was also expanding in accordance with the plan. They are currently on a good track for achieving this plan.
