Places to stay in Valle del Cauca, Columbia are conveniently located near the department’s many exciting attractions. There are plenty of budget hotels in Valle del Cauca too. The capital, Santiago de Cali, is home to amazing examples of colonial architecture dating from the time of Spanish exploration. Visitors to the city will want to spend time at the Museo Arqueologico La Merced. Originally a colonial style place of worship, the building is now home to a museum that focuses on pre-Columbian finds and religious art work. Also in Cali is the Christ Rey, a large Christ statue on a hilltop, and the Cerro de Las Tres Cruces, a hillside with three large crosses that can be seen across the city.

Outside of Cali, cheap hotels in Valle del Cauca, Columbia can be found in quaint villages and seaside towns. The department is on the Pacific Ocean and popular as a holiday hotspot.
