At the arrival we got the first nice surprise from the hotel as we were offered a free option to upgrade our originally booked (and very affordable) only one bedroom apartment (with an extra bed to accommodate the three of us) to a two separate bedrooms apartment that even had its own private balcony at the side of the building, overlooking mainly the hills. Also during our stay we felt the service was always very hearty, sunny and attentive, even surprisingly so. For example, one weekend night as we returned to the hotel and aimed to enter our apartment room, the receptionist hollered that she had left 'a little something' in our room, so that we wouldn't wonder. So as another delightful surprise, we found there to be a very nice, freshly made and tasteful ready-to-enjoy evening snack setting of local cuisine on the table of our apartment room.Also the receptionists were always eager to help you with anything, like offering to carry your bags, giving local tips if you asked eg., overall making one feel very comfortable and at home. About the other amenities of the hotel, the breakfast was nice too, included an option of freshly cooked eggs made to your order and had some variation from day to day. The apartment itself, it's kitchen, bathroom and the beds were quite comfortable and shining clean, and were also cleaned every day. The television worked well and there were many English channels to see the news.The only down side might be that one weekend night occurred to be somewhat noisy, as there was a party held at the hotel property and the music played there could be audibly heard in our apartment room also. However, we were warned about this beforehand as we selected the room and thus weren't really disturbed by it.
