Trogir is a town and harbor located in Croatia on the Adriatic coast and 27 kilometers from the City of Split. This historical town is recognized in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. You’ll find a lot of Roman, Greek and Venetian influenced culture in Trogir in the many Romanesque churches. You’ll also find palaces and towers you’ll find here with architecture from the Renaissance, Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque periods. If you’re a history buff, you’ll love this town so bring your camera.
You’ll have a lot to see in Trogir, the Dukes Palace and The Fortress Kamerlengo are from the 13th and 15th century. You’ll actually see quite a few buildings from the 13th century. The Cathedral of St. Lawrence will also interest you. While you’re there, you’ll have plenty of great eating choices in the Fontanta Restaurant, Alka Restaurant or the Kamerlengo Restaurant.
