Cuba has a lot to offer tourists in general, but the city of Mantanzas in particular is a special sight to see. One of the most famous attractions in the whole country, it is often called the “Venice of Cuba” or the “city of bridges” because of its seventeen amazing structures that cross three rivers, the San Juan, the Rio Yumuri, and the Canimar. One popular pastime is trying to visit all the bridges in just one day! Once you’re done that, however, there’s still a lot more to see. The Bellamar Caves, a national monument of Cuba are located nearby, as well as the famous Sauto Theatre, home to a number of plays, operas, and symphony performances.
