Archangelos Church and Icon Museum at Kalavasos can be considered as one of the major Cyprus attractions. This chapel was built in the twentieth century and on the 13th of April in the year 1945 the chapel was completed. The church with its big yard, the cemented floor and also the entry offers visitors to the chapel one of the most attractive sights of Cyprus. It is situated to the north of the Kalavasos village, on a small hill. On the west side of the church there is a seat made of cement where the priest places the Archangel Michael’s icon.
