The Haná Valley is farming region. It is part of the Haná Plains in Northern Moravia. In this region, you can find wild countryside and textile factories. The community of Prostĕjov is a large textile town. It has a reputation in this business. It also has several interesting monuments, including the Old Town Hall.

The Old Town Hall dates from the 16th century. Between 1521 and 1530, this structure grew on the main square. By 1538-1539, the portal decorations were in place. In 1697, the city added a loggia, then, in the 19th century, a second floor. A change in political climate saw the desire for the residents to have a building truly their own, not one left over from foreign domination. The town moved the museum from the Castle to this building. Today, it is the local history museum. It is a good place to discover the history of the area. It also has a fine display of traditional handicrafts including two rooms of ceramics from the Haná region. What you should come to see, however, is the interesting clock collection.
