If you do not mind heights and like to see an overview of the city, feel free to make your way to the Outlook, Viewpoint or Diana’s Tower. This 25-meter structure stands on the Friendship Heights. It overlooks the elegant Grand Hotel Pupp. Visitors can climb the hills by means of various paths and then up its five story structure with its 150 steps. Conversely, you can take a funicular (cable car) to the heights and then climb Diana’s Tower. The view is worth the effort.
Down on the ground, you have several choices. You can always return by funicular or walk through the forests surrounding the Tower. There are many different paths to take. These include the Friendship Trail, Marx’s Path, Rusel Trail and Fibich Path. You can hike through the woods to Deer Jump (Stag Leap) for still more stunning scenery. You can also follow a path to the small red brick structure Charles IV Belveder.
