The town of Karlovy Vary is home to several spas. In fact, it is the largest spa centre in the Czech Republic. There are both private and public spas. The age of the structures ranges from the 1800s to the 20th century. The styles reflect the times of construction. The springs all vary in temperature. The hottest springs are 72◦ C.
The five springs all have names. They are the Libuše, the Prince Václav I, the Prince Václav II, the Mills Spring and the Rusalka. Temperatures for the waters range from 56◦ C to 65◦C. The waters from Mills spring were once bottled and sold in every chemist (Pharmacy) in the Czech Republic.
