A stay in discount hotels in Klatovy, Czech Republic allows visitors to experience the history of the region. Founded in the 13th century, Klatovy’s skyline is dominated by 3 towers, one black and two white. The Black Tower was constructed in 1547 as a watch tower for the citizens of the town and today, at 81 meters, gives visitors an excellent panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. The two White Towers sit directly across the street from the Black Tower and were built by the Jesuits in the 1600’s.

Another popular attraction is the ‘At the White Unicorn’. Cheap hotels in Klatovy, Czech Republic are within walking distance of this 18th century Jesuit pharmacy housed in a Baroque storefront that has been completely restored and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The pharmacy exhibit is completely furnished, as it would have been during the 1700’s. Baroque buildings can be seen throughout town including the catacombs where the Jesuits and their disciples are buried.
