 "Good location, average hotel"
The location of the hotel was ideal for me- close to the main train station and a short walk in to Wenceslas Square. My room however seemed to be about the furthest away from reception you could get which was a bit annoying, especially when my swipe key didn't work. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. The room itself was comfortable- not big but there was an entrance hall with a cupboard and space for your bags. There seemed to be a good range for breakfast buffet, however after trying some of the hot food, I stuck with cereal as it was not the best. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful - they were not unpleasant, they just provided the basic level of service. Overall, a reasonable hotel, however not outstanding in my opinion. I probably wouldn't choose to stay again as I found a better alternative.

A larger establishment, Best Western Plus Hotel Meteor Plaza has quite a number of rooms to choose from. The quality of service at this hotel is well worth the 4-star rating. Namesti Republiky Station is the station that is easiest to reach if you come by public transport. Municipal House is within easy walking distance, as are Smetana Hall and Powder Tower. A museum visit is always interesting; try the nearby Jindřišská Tower or Mucha Museum. Slav and Střelecký Ostrov is recommended for a day of family fun.
