The rooms were beautiful, nicely cleaned and had sufficient resources. Great Location, right next to a subway station not far from the city center and really close to a supermarket.Only problem was the neighhbours. The problem weren't actually the neighbours themselves, I'm sure they were a lovely German couple, but the isolation was horrible. You could follow your neighbours every move and conversation due to the poor insolation.

After a long train ride from Berlin, arriving after 9 PM, we learned that only one of the two rooms that we had prepaid two months ago was available. We were traveling with another couple and the hotel's proposed solution was to place us all in one room! I put my foot down and refused. Finally, after 2 hours the hotel found another room across town and taxied one couple there. The next night they had two rooms available, but we were so disgusted that we tried to cancel and get our money back, but they refused. Therefore, we were forced to stay there. If you have another choice, do not stay at this place.

The room was very big, clean and nicely decorated. Weve LOVED the piano (I think the neighbours did less though).Its a shame we only stayed for one night.

the hotel is just next to a metro station very convenient to commute to the city centre. it provides good breakfast with every thing you wound need in the kitchen. Overall, it was a good experence, highly recommend.

Pros: Upon arrival we were greeted by one of the several very polite and friendly staff members we met over our time.
we were able to check into our room even though we were very early - nothing at casa italia is too much trouble.
the apartment was large, comfortable and spacious.
the room was well heated.
the area, although outside of town, held some of the best restaurants in prague, it was a beautiful (and not too long) walk into the city and the area was quiet and relaxing.
the room had unique decoration which enhanced the atmosphere.
breakfast was provided daily and consisted of small pastries, bread (with butter and jams/spreads) as well as a pot of coffee - everything we needed to start the day.
there was a well-priced mini-bar with various goodies.
the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to make food and drinks.
oh and just to mention the staff again - they were lovely and incredibly helpful on the rare occasions when we needed them.
we would definitely stay at casa italia again - it was a wonderful experience and should the staff there read this we'd like to express our thanks.

Pros: The staf were very friendly, brekfast was delivered to our room every morning, its right round the corner from the metro (3 stops from town centre) making travelling extremely easy. hotels were warm and very quirky
Cons: The stairs to the mezzanine bedroom area were very steep (like bunk bed ladders) and wouldnt be good if you had small children or are slightly older.
