The service we found was good, with a front desk that was open every time we passed. So you knew if you had a problem there was someone there to speak to. There were 5 of us 'fifty-somethings' in our 8-bed room, divided amongst 4 sets of bunk beds. Not the most comfortable sleep I've ever had, but certainly not the worst! The large sag in the middle of the bunk provided a safe 'hammock-like' experience that prevented anyone from falling out onto the floor.Even though it was January, we had the windows fully open because the heat from the radiators made the room into an oven. I had read that people had had experience of coldness; maybe our room was drawing it from everyone elses! We tried turning off the radiators, but one of them was having none of it and continued to emit furnace-like heat.The toilets and showers were clean and there was no need to wait too long before getting in. The shower room on our floor was 'compact' and that made getting dry difficult, but the biggest challenge to achieving dryness were the tiny towels; luckily I took my own but the others had to manage with what they had got!The location is ideal, with only ~1km walk to the clock thing, other city centre attractions and bridges. The taxis aren't cheap, so walking is definitely a preferred option.In summary, it was excellent value and a great experience for our group.
