"The hotel exceeded my expectations"

A short promenade may easily lead you to the renowned Charles Bridge which is only a short walk from the building. If you were looking for good value for money accommodations in central Prague, the Dar Hotel could be the right choice for business travellers. Several services are available for your convenience, ranging from wireless Internet access (available throughout the property), to meeting room featuring audiovisual equipment and banqueting facilities upon request; and if you just need to check your emails, an Internet Point is also available. Pros: The hotel exceeded my expectations. the location is great - so close to the old town square. the restaurant is gorgeous in design and serves excellent dinners at very good prices. the breakfasts could have been better - pretty basic eggs and hotdogs & cake - aweful coffee. the room itself was clean and large with large bathroom as well. the front desk staff was very helpful and recommended great bars to go to that offered good value. i would return to prague and stay in that hotel. i would also go back to that restaurant.

Pros: Perfect location: at the very center of the old town and yet in a quiet street. rooms are not big, but quite cozy, with clean and modern bathrooms.
Cons: Though the air conditioners were installed and advertised, they did not work. the two nights we stayed in the hotel were very hot and we did not enjoy sleeping in the room. had we known that ac did not function(they were installed but did not work for some time), we would have not chosen this hotel at this time of the year (mid june).
