The family Hotel 16 - U Sv. Kateriny is located in Prague 2 in the part called 'Nove Mesto' (New Town) that was created by the king Charles IV in the 14th century and is the most architecturally varied part of Prague. The hotel is situated close to the botanical garden and only 8 minutes walking distance from the Wenceslas Square, the main boulevard of Prague and simultaneously the business centre of Prague. At the top of the Wenceslas Square stands the Neo-Renaissance building of The National Museum and the St. Wenceslas Statue. At the bottom of the boulevard starts the Old Town area.

The Charles Square with the Gothic New Town Hall is just behind the corner, less than 4 minutes from the centrally located hotel. If you cross the square it will take you 5 extra minutes to get to The National Theatre, placed along the Vltava River bank and the opposite Café Slavia that has been a favorite place for the city`s writers and artists.
