Cons: We tried to check in at 7 pm (as our online reservation stipulated) but no one was at this hotel. we ended up using the intercom which connected us with the bily lev receptionist who works at another hotel a few blocks away. she hung up on us twice while we were trying to get her to help us, and fortunately some hotel guests in the lobby were kind enough to give us directions to the other location, so we went there to talk in person. at the other hotel the receptionist told us that she "couldn't find" our reservation for the bily lev hotel, and that she would honour our price at the hotel that she was currently at. we paid in cash, and she assured us that nothing would be charged to our credit card for the original reservation (we had paid a small stipend just to hold the room with our online reservation.) the next day, (after checking out) i get an email from the same lady saying that she got our reservation that day and saying it had been made for the previous night, and asking us if we were sure that was correct - i responded saying that no, that wasn't correct, that the reservation had been made the previous day and that we wouldn't be there that night, and i forwarded the confirmation that we got originally showing the correct day. of course, no response was given and my credit card was charged for a full night's stay. my credit card company had to refund me eventually because of course they also got no response from this hotel. nice little scam they have going there...
