Hotel Augustus et Otto Prague  

Pros: The staff are very informative when asked any questions, the hotel rooms are always very clean, and the breakfast dining area is always very attractive when laid out, plus the breakfast itself is very nice and fresh.

Pros: We stayed in hotel otto for 9 nights & were very impressed with the standard for the price. our double room was quite spacious & very clean. the hotel provides towels which are changed as often as you wish, a hairdryer, shower gel & shampoo. the continental breakfast is served from 7.30 til 10.30 & there was plenty of choice including eggs cooked to your wishes, bread/toast, cold meats, cheeses, cereal, dried & fresh fruit, fruit juices, hot drinks, yogurts, etc. the staff were all polite & friendly & spoke some english. the hotel is located a very short walk from the river vtlava & there are shops, bars & restaurants nearby. all of the tourist attractions of prague are within walking distance (comfy shoes essential!) & the tram/metro system is excellent, easy to use & cheap. the 2nd day of our stay was my birthday & much to my surprise & delight, when we returned to our room after a day out there was a box of chocolates & a card from the hotel staff waiting for me! you don't get that sort of personal touch in many hotels. overall we were very impressed & would definately stay here again if we ever return to prague.
Cons: Our room was on the street side of the hotel & it was sometimes a little noisy, but having said that, the windows are double glazed so if you close them it does cut out a lot of noise so not really a problem.

Pros: Front desk gave me info on metro beyond my questions. staff were all friendly.

Pros: I will stay in this hotel in future.
Cons: Veiw from window is not so good

Pros: The price was great and so was the breakfast buffet. it was close to the metro as well. the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Cons: It's not in the best area of town and there was construction across the street that woke me up early one morning.
