Prague Public Transport Museum
If you have children, or simply like old cars and trolleys, you might consider going to the Prague Public Transport Museum. This Museum is also called the Museum of Municipal Transport or the City Transport Museum. Getting there is half the fun, as the old saying goes. Hop the horse drawn tram Number 91. You can ride it all the way to the Museum.
The museum is a definite favorite of children of all ages. It is in an old Tram Depot. Inside the huge structure, you can find a large collection of trams and buses. Many of these old vehicles are intended for children to climb upon and explore. There are at least 40 historical vehicles. There is an exhibit featuring photographs and documents. It is explores the history of public transportation in the city of Prague. Yet, all in all, it is a museum alive with real buses and trolleys and trams.
