Residence Bene Prague    

Very friendly workers, clean rooms and good service. The breakfast could be improved though, but still worth the money. Highly recommend this hotel for students.

Brilliant location very central within walking distance to every district. Staff are very helpful and friendly . Hotel very basic but great value.

Pros: Residence bene is fine hotel. it is really in the center of old town, near everything :-).
in room we had free wi-fi, little fridge and cattle for tea or coffee. it was quite clean and stuff was nice and polite. hotel offers transport service from and to airport. it was very useful for us.

Cons: When we arrived to hotel around 13 guy in reception told us that check in is from 14, we left our bags.we came back around 14 but room wasnt still ready so they asked if we could come back in 1h (annoying).well we came back at 15 and they told us they dont have a room for us at all but they will arrange for us dirrerent hotel with higher standard...we couldnt tell if standard was higher since we never saw rooms @ residence bene.

Pros: Very service oriented and helpfull staff. located super central. good service with storage of luggage, recommandations to restaurants and 24 hour reception.
Cons: Noise from other guests at night. had to ask the staff to get them to reduce the noise. the staff made ​​an effort at. 01:30 to stop the noise.

Pros: The room was much better than we expected. the room was a great size and we had plenty of room. the location was perfect, it's right in the city center. the staff was very friendly and helpful with anything with needed.
Cons: The only negative thing i could say about the room, was the water had a little bit of a smell to it, but nothing that would deter us from staying there again.

Cons: I was given a room that was a little larger than a closet with non of the 3* attractions that were promised on the web page, like a normal bed, a full bathroom etc. after i spoke with the receptionist and told her that this is not what i paid for, she offered me 10% off for the one night and that they would switch rooms the following day. i went back to my room and then realized that not only was the room a little larger than a closet i was supposed to sleep on a fold out couch! i spoke with the hotel manager and told him that this is not what was advertised nor what i paid for. he then offered me 50% off for that night and that i could switch rooms the following day. what i found out through the discussion with the manager was that the room i paid for was not available because of construction problems so they put me in the only room available. the problem i had was that they did not inform me about this and would have kept me in the closet sized room if i did not complain! i found this to be very poor business and feel that if i was possibly taken advantage of - i felt that they hoped that perhaps i would not notice that my room was the size of a closet and in most of the room i had to duck because the ceiling was on a slant. i felt that i should have been privy to this information as soon as i entered the hotel and given a choice weather or not i would want the small room instead at a discounted rate or they could find me something more suitable. but no information was shared at all.

also, the breakfast was very poor and the room they moved me into the following day was large but not very clean.

Pros: Hotel was in easy walking distance to old town and prague castle. breakfast was very good. staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Room did not have telephone or hair dryer as advertised. tv was not working properly - could get only channel. building was being refurbished and construction crews started at 0730 each morning.
