Cons: Temperature problems. breakfast area too cold. rooms too hot to sleep in with underfloor heat on all night. don't want the draught of air-con just want the heat to turn off at night. had to open windows. other guests also said they found it hard to sleep, and what an awful waste of fuel to have heating and air-con on at same time!
Cons: Restaurant food average.
Cons: Credit card machine broke which was a hassle when checking out.
Cons: The shower flooded frequently and the shower door hit the toilet when opened just enough to enter. ordering more towels was difficult because the reception did not know where they were kept, so they would give us a hard time. bathrobes would have been appreciated. housekeeping seems to rush through the room, so we had to wear slippers at all times because the floor was dusty and dirty. they do not replace or clean the glasswear during your stay. the sheets felt like sandpaper. the internet was spotty and required a code daily for use; it also had to be used outside the room in the common areas because the cord they provided did not work (they said no one used it). there was some construction noise during our stay because they were doing some minor renovations in the restaurant. smoking was allowed in the lobby and restaurant area, and staff would smoke outside the elevator so it was unavoidable. a few staff members were not very friendly, and they gave terrible directions. for example, what they said was a five minute walk in fact took 35 minutes. lastly, breakfast should be extended until 11 am. because of the time change, i never woke in time for breakfast. i went down one morning at 10:07 am and they would not even serve me toast and coffee. they would only let me purchase items off the lunch menu.
Cons: Our room was on the 4th floor, the lift went up to the 3rd only,so to get to ours we had to go up a spiral staircase, that was no problem when we seen our room,it was large with low beams and the bathroom was beautiful.however we could hear every word coming from our neighbours room.there was no soundproofing at all.
Cons: Unfortunately there was refurbishment and renorvation of the dining area going on during our stay and the lounge chair in our room was removed and not replaced for a whole day. also not much choice of hot breakfast which was cold and the renorvation work was going on in the dining area through breakfast which meant a lot of dust, banging and noise throughout breakfast and we were having to step over cables and wires
Cons: Yes we booked a double room and were given a twin. no apologies or reasons from the hotel staff, just 'this is the only room left- so you are having it'. i booked and paid for a double room a long time in advance, so why was i given a twin? not good enough for a hotel of this standard.
Cons: Not a moan ,but we would of appreciated free wifi in the rooms as well as the lobbies..
Cons: Noise from the streets.
Cons: Can't say a negative thing about this hotel.
