Cons: We arrived at 1930 and were told that the aparthouse was full. i had my reservation information with me, fortunately, but we had to wait 20 mins for a room. it seems that our reservation had been lost. thankfully, we were given a room. the room, a1, was directly above the entrance to the aparthouse. it was very noisy at night, as the windows are large and do not keep out the sounds of vehicles and people.
Cons: Customer service is very poor, rooms are different from the ones on the website. you could probably get better room for the same price or cheaper.

Cons: The shop opposite the hotel ripped us off on more than one occasion, so beware. no complaints with the hotel whatsoever.
Cons: Nothing negative, just the stairs if you have big suitcases. we were on the 3rd floor and were visiting prague for a coupe of days after being in roudnice for some time, hence we had heavy cases and it was hard work. we had the basic of rooms, in the pictures the rooms look much better but it was clean and great value for money as the location was absolutely brilliant. not good for older people who can't do stairs or hills as the hotel is at the top of a long incline. we're in our late 40's and it was perfect for us. not a club/disco in sight! excellent!

Burgher house U Zlaté podkovy –in the original Gothic style– was mentioned already in the beginning of 15th century and underwent a substantial reconstruction in the Renaissance style in the 16th century.
