Hotels in Stĕfánik Observatory

Stĕfánik Observatory Details

If you want to gaze at the stars over Prague, you can go to several places. There are always the parks and high reaches such as castle walls. On a more formal level, there is the Prague Planetarium. You can also go to its cousin, the Štefánik Observatory in Pragues Petín Park. The doors of the Observatory opened in 1928. It became a popular viewing pint for the public. However, in the early 1970's, it underwent a facelift, reopening for the public in 1976. The result is improved technology and further resources to help people examine the world of which they are a part. You can use the telescopes to look at anything. During the day, examine the sun and see if you can observe any sunspots. At night, there is the moon, the stars and all the planets to watch. Such observations are open to the public daily, weather permitting.
