Loket Hotels and Accommodation

The town of Loket doesn’t really promise much for the travelers but its simplicity is what draws the tourist to come to this place for the weekend. Loket even attracted one of the world’s famous literary geniuses, Goethe, to visit this place numerous times. Goethe even celebrated one of his birthdays in his later years in the hotel named Bily Kun which still exists until today. However, the best tourist site in this town is the Royal Castle from the 13th century. Inside of the castle is the Municipal Museum. The museum shows the way of life of the people from the ancient to the present as well as some of the artifacts found in the area.
