The city of Bechyne is a lovely little town located on a natural elevation above the Luznice River. It became a city back in 1323, and is quite famous for its ceramics. Kaolin is found naturally in Bechyne, and is used extensively to craft ceramics of all descriptions in the South-Bohemian tradition.
