How to reach the Best Western Ashling Hotel?By car: Take the M1 motorway in the direction of ‘Dublin’ and take the first immediate exit onto the M50 in the direction of the N2/N3/N4/N7. Continue to the toll bridge. Go through the toll (EUR1.80) and take the next exit off the M50 immediately after the toll bridge. Turn left onto the N4 in the direction of the city centre. Continue for approximately 4 miles until you come to Heuston Rail Station on your left.
The road curves left around the station, bringing you across the River Liffey. Once across the bridge, turn right and then immediately left. Cross over the tram lines and the hotel car park entrance is on your left. Journey time is approximately 20-minutes.

Decent location, refurbished hotelPoor shower pressure, view from window unpleasant, allergic to shower gel, air conditioning not operating properly first night, had to pay for telephone because the room was pre-paid. had to request hotel to turn on telephone - did not know about this until we called reception. window does not open wide at all, just a crack, enough to hear the baby next door crying most of the night.
