Below you find reviews that guests wrote about their stay in Clifton Court Dublin, based on personal experiences.
The hotel was right in the city centre and within walking distance to all the shops, tourist things and temple bar with all the bars and clubs. hotel staff were really friendly and even though you have to check out at 12 they let us leave our bags there during the day before our evening flight. also got clean towels, made beds and emptied rubbish each day.
The only problems were that the hairdryer didnt work when we arrived and the main light was broken so had to rely on wall lights and lamp. you also have to ask for an iron as this isnt already in the room and they had all been handed out when we asked to use one!

The staff were friendly. the room was basic but very clean and comfortable. the hotel itself is in an excellent location within walking distance to the main shopping areas and nightlife.
We didn't find anything negative ourselves, but some people may not like the noise from the bar below. we just went and joined in hehehe

The location was terrific. we had young adults in our group and the close proximetry to the temple bar area was a positive addition to their dublin experience.there is a restuarant and bar downstairs with nightly entertainment that provided alot of fun.as a family it was a close walk to all the historic, interesting sights in dublin.
Don't expect a good nights sleep when staying here. as probably is the case with alot of the hotels in this lively area there is a big noise factor to deal with at night.

Breakfast was very nice & made it worth the money !!!
Room was small & in need of redecoration, badly in need to be honest! but find if you're just going to use it a place to sleep.

In a good location, pub downstairs was fine
The hot water took ten minutes to arrive in your shower and the rooms were antiquated and many of the fittings were in disrepair. the door lock to our room was broken.

Great location around the corner from all tourist site.
Only one iron and ironing board in the hotel and didnt know where it was. old wondows on front of hotel which dont drown out any sound of main road or the bar downstairs. kettle was dirty. signs of damp in the past and the air vent in the shower room didnt work.

The only drawback was the noise levels, but i suppose that is to be expected with a city centre hotel.

Great location and great breakfast! rooms were nothing special, but that's what you get when going 'budget'.
- my companions had bugs in their room twice (they were moved form one room to another but there were also bugs - eventually a third room proved to be ok.
- if you stay at one of the lower floors (1st or 2nd) you 'll hear noise from the bar below.
i paid slightly under 100 euros, but 50 euros is more like a reasonable price....

Great location and easy to find. breakfast was lovely and the staff at breakfast were very kind and helpful.
One member of staff on reception was particularly unhelpful. when i asked about the shuttle bus to the o2. he said they haven't told me about that yet. but didn't offer to try to find out for me. in fact the bus left from 2 doors away from the hotel!
my room smelt very strongly of smoke on the saturday, but the staff did clean and used air freshener which helped.
