Connolly Railway Station Dublin

The Connolly Station, originally called the Dublin Station, was first opened in 1844. Very shortly after opening it was renamed the Amiens Station (after the street it is located on), then in 1966 it was again renamed after an Irish revolutionary, James Connolly. Throughout its history the station has served passengers traveling to the north, northwest and southeastern parts of Ireland. In addition, the fully modern inner city DART system, which offers both north and south travel options, is now located within the Connolly Railway Station.
