They sorted out our window problem quickly when we brought it 2 their attention. it was nailed shut, which is all that could be done seeing as it wasnt fitted properly.
All their windows are wooden framed, so most of the windows in the room and in our case 2 of the rooms we tried the frames dont touch the closing window pain so you get a lot of wind&street noise coming in. the windows havent been fitted properly, i guess thats not the hotels fault. wldnt b a problem in the summer but winter time its not what u want.

Staff are very professional and helpfull. the hotel has a strong musical angle which gives the hotel character. this is suprising for a chain like holiday inn. the rooms are a little over used (could do with a revamp)but comfortable. ambience is very good, warm and friendly. the hotel is a little bit far from the main pubs and bars but still central. good value for a one night weekend stay as most central hotels require 2 night min stay. decent enough.
A little bit out of the way.
