The hotel is located at the embassy belt in the heart of the beautiful Georgian Dublin. All main sights are within walking distance.
Grand Canal Dock DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) Station lies opposite the hotel and is ideal for trips to Dublins sea side.
How to reach the Grand Canal Hotel?Take the blue aircoach towards the city centre and get off in Ballsbridge at the school house. Follow the path (the Grand Canal lies to your left hand side) for 1 minute. Turn right then and you will see the Grand Canal Hotel.
If you are travelling by DART get off at "Grand Canal Dock" and turn right as you come out of the station. After 50 meters you will see the Grand Canal Hotel in front of you.

I didn't appreciate house keeping trying to clean the room every hour on the hour from 9am i do not think it is fair when check out is not until 13pmAnonymous

Very comfortable bed. The music in bar was far too loud and it was difficult to relax with a drink and relax in foyer area due to terribly loud music coming from bar area. definitely a put-off . relaxed conversation was not an option, even though i wanted to relax after a day's work.i would have reservations about staying there again because of it. no need for blowing off visitor's ears. a little bit of consideration for paying guests needed.Apps

Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming.
room and facilities in the room very good.Room was not ready when arrived at 2.30pm, waited an hour. booked room for 3 people, website stated double bed plus 2 single beds. room had double plus 1 single bed and was made up for 2 people. as we were 3 mature ladies we preferred our own beds. staff could not change 1st night but arranged triple room 2nd night and apologised saying the website got it wrong. was very cold 2nd night, heating not on. reception said heating on timer will go on at 5pm. was not happy as we were going to a concert and had to get ready in cold but water was hot. was freezing in the night, we had extra blanket put in room.williamson

Hotel was modern and clean and all the staff were extremely helpful, polite and accommodating! the food was lovely and reasonable for dublin prices. drink was expensive but this was the case all over dublin and it was certainly no dearer than anywhere else.The only negative was that it was quite a while out of the centre and the taxi drivers were not exactly the most honourable we have ever met. charges to the centre ranged from 15 to 30 euros!
