Culture runs deep in the heart of Egypt and this can be seen through the Cairo Opera House. Located in the capital city of Egypt, this opera house is a fairly new addition to the area. There are three theaters here and each has a specialized use. The Main Theater has 1200 seats and is primarily used for the operas along with ballets and other musical performances. The Second Theater is a considerably smaller area with only 500 seats. This theater’s main uses tend to be film festivals and business conferences. The Third Theater has 1000 seats and can be used for smaller productions.
The Cairo Opera House has plenty of room for training and rehearsals. Visitors can browse the library and museum to research the various works of arts featured here. Visitors enjoy the opportunity to listen to traditional music in the open theater as the stars shine above or experience the thrills and drama of an opera on a night out on the town.
