Dahab is located in South Sinai is absolutely amazing for those that want to escape from the hot sun and dry air of other Egyptian cities. Here windsurfing, body surfing, and diving are standard activities. Facilities for these activities can be found lining the pristine beaches. One of the most interesting sights in Dahab is not visible to the common beach-goer. The Blue Hole rests just under the water surface and is a great place for divers to experience the depths of serene splendor. Divers start at the Bells and follow the cliff face which houses coral and an array of colorful sea life. Then the 100 meter deep Blue Hole is reached. There is no visible floor here which incites awe and even fear among the divers. Only experienced divers should attempt Blue Hole as this dive can be challenging. Snorkelers enjoy skimming the water near the edge of the Blue Hole.
