Egypt has some of the most spectacular diving sights in all of Africa. The Sinai Peninsula benefits from being surrounded by the clear pristine waters of the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aqaba, and the Gulf of Suez which draws visitors to the shores each year. Sharm El Sheikh is located at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and has several dive centers and resorts that cater to visitors.
Guests do not need to part the Red Sea to experience the depths and beauty here. There are several centers that are accredited with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors and features diving schools for the beginners and various diving tours. There are plenty to see such as the Ras Mohammed Marine Park and the Thistlegorm wreck. Schools of tropical fish dart in and out of reefs and sharks lazily patrol the Tiran Island. Scuba diving off Sharm El Sheikh is truly an experience to remember.
