Estonian’s train service is not yet on par with that found in many other European cities. Although the train once thrived in this country, since the Soviet’s train travel has declined in scope. There are still some major train centers. The major city of Tallinn in Estonia serves as a central hub for all modes of transportation. It has buses, an airport and a modern railway transportation system. It has one of the few major passenger railway stations in the country. You can locate it on Toopuiestee near the downtown historical core.

The train station at Tallinn provides both international and domestic service. There are connections to Minsk, Moscow, Riga, St. Petersburg and Vilnius. You can catch a train to Tartu two or three times a day. There are also regular or semi-regular trains to Keila, Narva, Paldiski, Parnu, Talpa and Viljandi. The trains offered to the public are comfortable. Some have Wi-Fi access to help you pass the time along the long trips.
