Hotels in Jausiers
Near the valley of lUbaye in the Alpes de Haute Provence department, the town of Jausiers sits in a strategic position of 1250 meters above the valley. The town is organized in a rather concentric way. The center of town contains the 17th century church of Saint-Nicolas-de-Myrrhe, the towns main church, the government offices, and a stone street that has the main shops in town. Then the next 'ring' contains the residential sections as well as the gendarme and various shops that sell regional products. Your EasyToBook.com hotel will likely be located in this area or one of the areas just outside of the proper village; les Magnans, le Moulin or Cocody. As you approach the town, the dominant structure in view is the Chateau des Magnans. It actually is more modern than it looks, having been built in the early 1900s. Its design is inspired by Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. Several villas built in the same time frame are donned the Mexican Villas, showing clear influence of that countrys style in their architecture.
