Russian Orthodox Church Cannes

This magnificent ecclesiastical building was constructed in the year 1894 by an architect who was an exiled Russian living in France. It is understandable that this religious structure is among Cannes' attractions because its unique blue onion positioned on top of its spire makes it very much noticeable in the town centre. There are many other external as well as internal features of the church as that would delight any tourist or architectural aficionado. Still a functioning church until this present day, the doors of this famous place of worship are always open to the public for prayers and tours most part of the week.
