Hotel renior is located very close in easy walking distance from the canne rail station. we walked up the hill and could see the hotel sign ahead and across the intersection. a small positive only but important information for rail travellers. once at the hotel we whee greeted by the concierge jaques, jaques and his staff have excellent english and where amongst the friendliest and most helpful people we encountered in the whole of france. jaques is painfully polite and a little awkward he's like the basil fawlty of canne we were treated extremely well and had quiet a few laughs while there. breakfast is a major event you have great service whether you take it in the room or in the sit down area and more great food than you really know what to do with. the hotel and rooms are very clean and present like a hotel that you could pay much more to stay in. location is a liuttle out of the central hub of the tourist areas but a very easy walk down the hill probably 500m puts you in the thick of the shops restraunts and bars. the advice from the lobby regarding restraunt and activity recommendations was spot on and saw us following their advice daily. one small hitch when the tv failed was rectified so quickly and politely that we more impressed by the extent they would go too to correct a minor hiccup in as timely a fashion as possible. the room itself was spacious for our family travelling as a triple share in one room it had a very nice modern bathroom with a large luxurious bath and separate wc.
I cannot fault my renior experience other than to say breakfast is so big in terms of trays and selections that we struggled for a place to put all the goodies onto tables so we had breaky in bed nothing really to complain about.

We had a free upgrade from a standard room to a suite - wonderful! staff were every helpful and pleasant.
No hairdyer! the room was quite noisy if you opened the windows but it wasn't anything dreadful.
