Menton Hotels and Accommodation

Located in the southern most part of France and just 40 minutes east of Nice, Menton is a perfect place to stay for the weekend. Menton is often visited because of their beaches. There many private beaches that you can easily rent but people often go to a public beach called the Plage des Sablettes. They also have numerous museums that deal with pre-history (Regional Pre-Historic Museum) and arts (Beaux-Arts Museum and Contemporary Art Gallery). Menton also has two baroque churches that are worth visiting, namely, Eglise Saint-Michel and Chapelle de la Conception. You can also visit the historical sites of Palais Carnolès or Tour de La Noria. Every February, the town is visited because of her Lemon Festival.
