I had read a lot of reviews on the internet about this hotel so i knew what to expect. it is a good budget hotel, with friendly staff and the rooms were clean and refreshed daily (beds comfy, sheets clean and crisp, towels white and fluffy!). campanile nice centre hotel is in a fantastic location, 2 mins walk to the nearest tram stop, 5 mins walk to the central bus station and old town, 10 mins walk to the harbour and the beach front. excellent for a cheap couple of nights away.
The only thing i would say, is that its very dated and we had a triple room which was very small, no draws just a small hanging space for clothes and no where to store suitcases... there was a slight smell of smoke and the bathroom did smell a little, but nothing that opening the window didn't cure. but i have to reiterate it was very clean.... the air conditioning was a little noisy but it worked!
