We have stayed at this hotel many times because of its location and because it is part of the very reliable Campanile chain which we have used all over France. This year the hotel rooms have undergone a complete renovation and are much improved. The staff have always been very welcoming and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The hotel was close to Nice Old Town which is very interesting and a must-see. The room was quite small but very clean and had air conditioning, which was essential given the July temperatures. We thought the prices for breakfast were a touch high and chose to have this at one of the many nearby cafés in the Old Town. Buses and tramstops were close by and Nice has loads of things to do and see. Overall, we felt the Campanile was good value in a convenient location.

Chose this hotel on the basis of location, economy and earlier reviews. Rooms small as expected but adequate and very clean. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Wish there had been real coffee at breakfast rather than a machine but you can't have everything for that sort of price. Excellent value and ideal for pubic transport links and proximity to sea and old town.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst visiting Monaco for the Grand Prix. Location very good , about 20 minutes walk to Nice Riquier train station. Also easy access to tram for Nice Ville station. Close to the Old Town with good choice of restaurants and shopping. Beach within walking distance. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Rooms quite small but clean and comfortable and all that was needed for a short stay. Had breakfast one morning, continental breakfast with good choice of food. Would return.

Pros: The beds were very comfortable, towels fluffy and white, plenty of choice for breakfast, staff very helpful and friendly. a very good location too.
Cons: If i were to nitpick the room was a little on the small side, and although there was hanging space for clothing, there were no drawers to put other clothing items so had to leave them in my case.

Pros: I had read a lot of reviews on the internet about this hotel so i knew what to expect. it is a good budget hotel, with friendly staff and the rooms were clean and refreshed daily (beds comfy, sheets clean and crisp, towels white and fluffy!). campanile nice centre hotel is in a fantastic location, 2 mins walk to the nearest tram stop, 5 mins walk to the central bus station and old town, 10 mins walk to the harbour and the beach front. excellent for a cheap couple of nights away.
Cons: The only thing i would say, is that its very dated and we had a triple room which was very small, no draws just a small hanging space for clothes and no where to store suitcases... there was a slight smell of smoke and the bathroom did smell a little, but nothing that opening the window didn't cure. but i have to reiterate it was very clean.... the air conditioning was a little noisy but it worked!
