Cons: Staff not helpful, nor friendly. hotel smells of old, needs renovating.
Cons: Staff not friendly, sometimes not helpful: stairs at the entrance, nobody would come to help you carry suitcase, even if they saw you struggling. hotel has no parking, and instead of sending us to the public parking, they sent us to a more expensive parking they had some understanding with. only one lady of the 3-4 at reception was really nice and helpful.
Ellington Hotel Nice is ideally situated in an elegant district in the centre of Nice, just a 5-minute walk away from the beach, the shopping area and the Acropolis congress centre. In the hotel’s direct vicinity you can enjoy the history of the old town, the ‘Cours Saleya’ and its flower market. At only 10 minute walking distance from the hotel you can also walk along the beautiful and sunny ‘Promenade des Anglais’ or do some shopping in the city centre of Nice.
