If you manage to stay in a quiet cheap hotel in Nice near the Arc de Venet, you will be able to see one of the early works of the contemporary sculpture Bernard Venet. Bernet came to Nice at 17 years of age, to study at the Ville Thiole. His metal sculptures, often of corten steel, are found around the world.
