Museum of Tools and Crafts Troyes

The museum is housed in the Hotel de Mauroy, which is one of the finer structures in Troyes that was constructed during the 16th century. The fascinating collection of tools and artefacts in the museum that all date way back to the past thousand of years ago are in the museum to tell the tale of traditions that are already centuries old. As one of the attractions that make up Troyes' tourism, the museum does not only hold public exhibitions of tools in action but also interactive seminars that have been designed to get more people to practice the dying art forms using these tools. The museum is run by the French National Arts Guild.
