Pros: The hotel was a good value considering the prices one is asked to pay in france. location was good for venturing out to other spots but one needed to drive into caen.
Cons: It was not clear in the ad that the hotel was not actually in caen but nearby mondeville. that made it impossible to visit town by walking. made it difficult to find even with gps because the assumption is that it is located in caen proper.

Pros: Room was as expected for the low price paid.
Cons: The shower/toilet room smelt badly of blocked sewerage.
