Le Grand Pavois La Rochelle

Held every September, the Grand Pavois, which is considered as one of the greatest La Rochelle attractions, is known to contribute to the tourism business not only in the town but in surrounding areas as well. During this event, some 56,000 square metres of exhibition space is offered for boat exhibitions as well as 2.5 kilometres of pontoons. Usually some 650 boats are put on display during this event. There are 11 thematic spaces featured in the show and among these are the boats ashore, the hall of equipment, the boats afloat, the village snowboarders and the wooden village hall lifestyle, among others.
