There are many activities in Beaune that could fill the days of any tourists. This is because Beaune is known to be among the towns in France that produce the best Burgundy wines.

One of the several wine cellars that have made the town quite famous for its grape is the Marché aux Vins. Located at the southern area of the oldest part of town, going to this town cellar is definitely one of the activities in Beaune that you should not fail to do. Here, you can hire a “taste vin”, which is a flat metal cup that you could use to admire the texture and colour of the wines contained in these splendid cellars. The tours in these cellars last mostly for an hour and you will be able to get a taste up to 18 different varieties of wines produced here.
