Rude Museum Dijon

The Rude Museum is dedicated to sculptor Francis Rude, who is one of Dijon's own and it is because of this particular fact that the people in the city are quite proud of the museum. Rude was lauded all over the world for his genuine talent as a sculptor and he was immortalized by the local authority after his death. They believed that putting together a permanent collection of his pieces was not only needed for the cultural heritage of the city but also to attract visitors from all over the world.
