The town of Bordeaux in France is known as one of the best wine producers in the country. Because of this, among the things to do in Bordeaux are visiting its wine museum, the Musee des Vins and sampling its great wines. Set in the former home of a nobleman from the 18th century, the museum is solely dedicated to the wine-producing culture of the town.

The Musee des Vins de Bordeaux has vaulted cellars that date way back to the year 1720. There are also storehouses in the museum that, along with the cellars, remain as witnesses to the importance of wine throughout the years. In present date, the museum appears in the charts as the one bearing the history of a wine that is known all over the world. It also gives people insights on how the finest vintage wines are stored to optimize their aging. One of the things in Bordeaux that you can do in the museum is the wine tasting, to which an introduction can be arranged upon your arrival.
